Payment & Financing Options

The Pet Health Center accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit Card, CareCredit, and ScratchPay. Payment or setup of payment plan is due at the time of service. Some restrictions apply.

CareCredit is a credit card product. An application is required. Apply at the Pet Health Center or online here. Your credit will be subject to a hard inquiry. If approved, you will be eligible for a 6-month deferred interest payment plan (all payments must be made on time and your balance paid in full within 6 months.)

The minimum eligible transaction amount is $200.

Be sure the minimum monthly payment is enough to pay off your balance in 6 months to avoid interest.

If a payment is late or missed or you don't pay in full within 6 months, you will be charged 29.99% on the entire balance owed.

Payments are reported to the credit bureaus.

Scratchpay is an installment loan. An application is required. Apply now from your smartphone or desktop.

A soft credit check determines whether you are eligible for a Scratchpay loan. If you are approved and accept a loan, Scratchpay will do a hard credit check for all repayment options except "Take 5". (See below for details)

Eligible transactions:

Minimum $200 - Maximum $10,000 ($35/$1,000 for "Take 5" plans)

Payback options:

•  "Take 5": 20% down + four biweekly payments. No interest. Maximum loan of $1,000

•  3 monthly payments (0% APR)

•  12 or 24 months. Fixed interest rate applies and varies by applicant. Scratchpay determines APR.

Not all payment options are available to all applicants. Payments are reported to the credit bureaus.

In-house financing with VetBilling®

We understand that veterinary care can sometimes be costly - especially when it comes to unexpected illnesses, injuries, and emergencies. It isn't always easy or possible to pay in full all at once, so we partnered with VetBilling® to offer convenient, interest-free, pay-over-time options.

The Pet Health Center's (PHC) in-house installment plan is managed by VetBilling.

A soft credit check* is required. Approval is determined by PHC. If approved, we'll help you choose a payment plan that fits your budget. A $25 enrollment fee applies and is payable by credit/debit card only and drafted immediately by VetBilling. We ask that you pay your exam fee and a minimum down payment of 25-50%.

Recurring payments are automatically drafted from a checking/savings account or credit card. A $3 processing fee applies to each payment. No interest is charged.

Late/missed payments incur late fees.

Payments are reported to the credit bureaus.
